The Baby Cafe Charitable Trust and the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) have announced they are merging.

The NCT's website says "The merging of the two charities will maximise and extend The Baby Café model which combines support from the health service with a relaxed, café style environment where mums can meet, chat and learn about breastfeeding from qualified, skilled staff. The Baby Café will continue to operate with its existing co-ordinating team and the branding will remain synonymous with high quality, health professional-led breastfeeding support in the community."
